Competition Terms & Terms of Play
Rules that apply to every DR3AMS competition and each individual draw.
These rules apply to DR3AMS Digital Ltd trading as DR3AMS, its website, mobile app and related competition services.
1. Competition information
Every DR3AMS competition must have a clear competition page showing the prize, opening time, closing time, expected draw timing, entry price, free-entry method, entry cap where applicable, per-person limit, eligibility, draw method, prize-claim requirements and significant restrictions.
2. How an entry becomes valid
- Paid online entries must complete checkout successfully and be allocated an entry in DR3AMS records.
- Free entries must follow the published Free Entry Method and arrive by the stated deadline.
- Entries received after closure, incomplete entries, ineligible entries and fraudulent entries may be rejected.
- An order confirmation should show the customer what has been entered and the relevant entry number or numbers.
3. Entry numbers
DR3AMS may allocate entry numbers automatically. The number itself does not create a greater or lower chance of winning. Where random winner selection is used, all valid entries included in the draw are treated equally.
4. Free entry equivalence
Where a free entry route is required for the draw model, it will be promoted before the point of purchase. The draw process will not intentionally distinguish between a valid free entry and a valid paid entry.
5. Closing a competition
The competition closes at the published date and time or when the published maximum number of entries has been reached, if the terms expressly use a sell-out mechanism.
The legal team should confirm how any sell-out mechanism interacts with the practical availability of the free-entry route.
6. No sales-based prize downgrade
DR3AMS will not reduce the advertised prize because paid entry sales are lower than expected. It will not extend or cancel a draw simply to improve sales.
Any exceptional change must have a lawful and fair reason and must be communicated clearly.
7. Winner selection
The mechanism will be stated on the competition page. DR3AMS intends to use a verifiably random and auditable computer process, an independent person, or another compliant method.
Draw records should be retained for audit and complaints handling.
8. Instant wins
Instant-win products have additional rules in Instant Wins Explained. The paid and free routes must be designed so that equivalent participation is genuine rather than theoretical.
9. Winner contact
DR3AMS will use reasonable efforts to contact the provisional winner using registered details. The claim period should be stated in the competition-specific terms.
If the winner does not respond, is ineligible or cannot complete required checks, DR3AMS may follow the published redraw or alternative-winner process.
10. Prize fulfilment
The prize will be supplied as advertised or, where the competition explicitly provides for it, a stated cash alternative.
Delivery, collection, travel, insurance, tax or other ongoing-cost conditions must be displayed where material.
