Free Entry Method

A qualifying free-entry route is offered alongside paid entry where stated on the relevant competition page. You do not need to buy a paid entry to use that route.

Always follow the instructions published for the specific competition. Different prizes may have different references, questions, entry limits or deadlines.

1. 1Create and maintain a valid DR3AMS account before submitting your entry.
2. 2Use the postal format stated on the relevant competition page and include your full name, date of birth, postal address, registered email address, telephone number, exact competition name or reference and all information requested by that competition.
3. 3Include the required statement confirming that you wish to receive one free entry and accept the applicable DR3AMS Terms and Competition Terms.
4. 4Send the entry by the postal method and to the address shown on the relevant competition page. Do not send it to a general customer-support address.
5. 5Make sure the entry arrives before the published closing time. Posting before the deadline is not enough if it arrives after closure.

Each correctly completed postal entry normally requests one entry unless the competition-specific terms state otherwise. Each request must comply independently with the entry limit for that competition and the customer account.

A valid free entry receives the same chance of winning the relevant prize as a valid paid entry. The winner-selection system will not intentionally identify one route as better or worse than the other.

• It arrives after the closing time.
• Required information is missing, false or illegible.
• The entrant is under 18 or otherwise ineligible.
• The account cannot be matched to the entry.
• The requested competition is unclear or already closed.
• The entry would exceed a stated per-person entry limit.
• There is credible evidence of fraud or manipulation.

Free entries must arrive and be processed within the published competition rules. A competition may close when its closing time or valid entry limit is reached, so allow enough time for post and do not rely on last-minute delivery.

DR3AMS does not charge a fee for a qualifying postal free entry. You are responsible for the normal postage cost charged by the postal service.

If you need help understanding the free-entry method, use the Contact & Support page before sending your entry. Support cannot retrospectively make an invalid or late entry valid after a competition has closed.
